On behalf of the 2007 Board of Directors, I would like to announce we will be submitting By-Laws changes in writing for review at the September 2007 meeting, then vote on the changes at the October 2007 meeting.

Should you be unable to attend the September 13, 2007 meeting but still wish to review the proposed changes prior to the October 11, 2007 meeting I will gladly send you a copy either via fax or email.

2nd Annual WPAA Golf Outing…

Monday, September 11 was a Beautiful day, and the 2nd Annual WPAA Golf Outing took full advantage. 18 Foursomes, a few on-lookers, a Golf-Pro Jill Finlan-Scally, a Massage Therapist, and lots of sponsors hit the greens at 10:30, after completing 18 all enjoyed a Steak Buffet, Drinks, Prizes, and let us not forget the stories about the one that was ìsoooo closeî.

The Outing would not have been a success without the Golf Committee Chaired by Faith Dickinson. She had lots of help from Candace Boyle, Renee Cale, Jocelyn Forcht, Cyndi Jonov, Jerome Machnik, Jennifer Miller and Kelly Whitmer. Thanks to all of you, you did a great job.

We kicked-off the Fall Food Drive in a big way. North Street Properties donated $100.00 and thanks everyone who brought a non-perishable. Four boxes of non-perishables are now in storage awaiting distribution.

While a Massage Therapist with his magic hands greeted those in need, 22 golfers started their morning at the Putting Competition, and John Ghaznavi was our winner. He split the pot with the Fall Food Drive and received a gift certificate as well. Congratulations!

While the Golfers worked hard to get that hole in one and win a car, Cort Furniture and Apartment Rental Guide traversed the course with Beverage Carts, and several of our sponsors had goodies for us at the holes.

During the Steak Buffet the Contest and Foursome Winners were acknowledged as well as the 50/50 and Raffle Drawings. Tim Sears our Lucky 50/50 winner made off with $435.00, thanks in part to the sponsorship of For Rent Magazine who started the pot with a $250.00 donation.
